Selection tool used as a kind of erasor

I Think it would be cool if you could use a selection to remove te selected region with a clean cut without any brush effect. So like you the copy function is like a CTRL+C I would love to have a CTRL+X as well. I think that would make life more easy.

 Hi Heiner,

Try...
1. Rectangle Mask tool
[*] Invert

2. Menu > Edit > Clear Layer
or
Menu > Edit > Clear Layer to Current color

Surov

Ok, that works and is a nice workaround. Is there a keyboard shortcut for inverting mask?
Thanks Surov!

I use 2 options...

1 -- Check the box [*] Invert
or
2 -- [_] Invert + Mask Inv (Quick Command)

Hi Surov,
thanks for the tip. Your answer had me also dig deeper into the whole quick command thing and that really does the trick for me! Twisted brush was wort every cent when i bought it, the more i use it, the more I learn it, the more its worth! Besides, your tip also helped a lot!
Cheers,
Heiner

Hi Heiner,

I absolutely agree with you.
I am now enjoying with TB Paint Studio :)
Both programs are brilliant.
But TB Pro - bottomless!

Was glad to help you.
